A 25-year-old doctor in Bihar, India, allegedly cut off her boyfriend’s penis in a brutal act of revenge after he failed to appear for their scheduled court wedding. The couple had been in a relationship for five years, but the man repeatedly refused to marry her. After finally agreeing to a court marriage, he failed to show up, leaving the woman enraged. She later invited him to her home, where she allegedly attacked him with a knife. Neighbors, hearing his screams, alerted the police, who found the man seriously injured and rushed him to Patna Medical College and Hospital. The woman was arrested, and an investigation is ongoing. The Station House Officer confirmed both individuals were unmarried. This incident is part of a disturbing pattern in India, where several cases of women mutilating their partners' genitals have been reported in recent years. Past incidents include women attacking their husbands or lovers over infidelity, neglect, or refusal to engage in sexual relations, sometimes carrying severed genitals with them. These gruesome acts highlight a troubling trend of extreme retaliation in personal relationships across the region.
